The Exchange The Exchange Is a perl cgi script that allows you to run your very own traffic exchange. The Exchange works on a points system, the Administrator sets the number of points each type of ad is worth, when a member shows an ad on their site they are awarded with the respective points for that type of ad. The Exchange allows members to display 468 x 60 banner ads displayed in the format of the banner at the top of this page Text Ads, displayed in the format of the text ads on the left of this page (max of 5 ads) Small Text Ads displayed in the format of the text ads shown at the bottom if this page (max 3 ads). You can also select to have either type of text ad shown as scrolling text like the one below, the size of the ad is equivelent to 1 ad of the type of text ad displayed Floating Ad, is a single text ad that floats over the page. and finally Pop Under ads where a new browser window is opened under the current window. Members can add as many ads/urls as they like by logging in and adding an ad. The Exchange will also create the required html for members to add to their website to display the various ads on their site. When members log in they will be presented with statistics for their account over the past x days (x set by the Administrator) aswell as individual stats for each of their ads. From this screen they can 'Add an Ad', Upgrade their membership, Get the html code to display ads on their site. Aswell as the above functions the Administrator can also view statistics for all members, change the exchanges ratio, points scores and upgrade options.
